  1. I have 1000 sq ft concrete polyspartic floor, shiny, smooth and want excellent mopping, and dirt pickup, no carpet. What unit would be best for that in your top 20 list?

  2. I still can’t imagine paying over $300 for a vacuum. Some of these prices are crazy & the difference in a $100 robot & $500 are not major.

  3. It seems like this channel has turned into an advertising platform exclusively promoting Roborock products for quite some time now. It has long lost its objectivity—ranking the Q Revo Curv as the top choice despite its terrible obstacle avoidance system. It really feels like this channel has become an ad channel for Roborock. Although it claims to purchase products independently, I suspect they might be earning commissions by posting affiliate links. I hope it returns to its original intent and unbiased perspective.

  4. Hello! Thanks good video.

Unfortunately, the Yeedi is not available in Europe. Do you have a good mid-level option for the European market?

  5. @vacuumwars, can you not bring a search tool to your website that means you can untick features your not interested in and get the top 5 without them

  6. Hi,
I’ve read a review about the roborock qrevo saying that –
    1. Only the dust container gets emptied, not the water. Is this the case with most robo vacs that also mop?

    2. Also that “the dock started to leak and after a while the whole tray is filled with water until you find your robot sitting in a pool. It is one of those things that you never know or read of such a problem until you have it. Then, once you start to investigate, you see that many people are bothered with the same problem. Shortly after 1.5 months, this problem came up for me also. Search for Q Revo Dock Leaking. The solution that worked for me is to use water with citric acid to self clean the dock couple times, as the limescale buildup in the dock prevents the plug to fully lock, and slowly leak the clean water.” Is this your experience and a common occurrence with others that function in a similar way?

    Thanks

  7. Wait a second, I’m so confused. I assumed the roborock S8 max v ultra was going to win the award, when I saw the Qrevo Curv won, I started looking into it. It has almost twice the suction power, better mopping abilities, and is significantly cheaper than the S8 max v ultra? Why did they price it cheaper if it seems better in every way? Also apparently the Qrevo Curv is listed as the "Qrevo Edge" on their website? Why do they have 2 separate names for the same product? So confusing

  8. There are a lot of houses with soft resin flooring like PU floors. So a test of any kinds of a trail, scratch, damage would be appreciated. Especially trails since it runs the same pattern over and over. Also a non mopping list/review pls

  9. Roborock states that this vacuum has 18,500 pa suction but neither you video nor your website comments on this. is there any reason you have left this out?

  10. Dont really give much for tests that just pick most expensive things in basically a straight down ladder based on price. Top 5 picks are 1000+$ picks. The more you pay the more weird functions do you get.
Test also doesnt mention measuring noise at all wich is a major part of a robot vac that’ll litterally be running around your house daily.

  11. Would any of these picks be suitable for a house with 2 long (20cm) haired dogs, and 2 women in it? Basically, a lot of hair. Anything non-chinese worth to look at?

  13. Help!!

This video was AWESOME! I used all the information you’d gathered and purchased a Roborock Qrevo Master during the Black Friday sales. It had all the features I needed and as a disabled girly I was SO excited to soon have some cleaning help.

But a few days later I received an email saying that my order needed to be cancelled because the order the retailer had made with Roborock couldn’t be fulfilled due to a global stock shortage.

I can’t even buy it from a different place because EVERYONE is sold out (all the authorised retailers in Australia). I tried contacting Roborock in Australia and they obviously did not read the email as the reply that they sent didn’t answer any of my questions (and asked questions I’d already answered).

I tried contacting Roborock in the US and didn’t receive any reply.

Does ANYONE know if the Roborock Qrevo Master will be coming back in stock? I don’t know if it’s been discontinued to make way for a new model, or whether they’re just temporarily out of stock.

  14. @VacuumWars

I see a part of video where the Slim gets under your furniture which is obvious, i wanted to know if the Curv gets under the furniture as well. Trying to know the clearance Curv can reach.

My furniture has similar clearance, to yours in the video. Thank you again for the review.

  15. So it’s late 2024 and I go on the Roborock website. They don’t even sell a vacuum called the QRevo Curv?! Useless video!

  16. At the time of this video the Eufy X10 Pro Omni is ranked higher than the Yeeti and is the same price. So I don’t understand how the Yeedi is your midrange when using your own data. Am I missing something?

  17. I’ve started to have doubts about this channel. I subscribed a long time ago, believing it to be the most objective channel for robot vacuum reviews, but when I saw the Roborock Q Revo Curve ranked as number one, I thought, “This is just wrong.”

The Q Revo Curve has been heavily criticized in overseas benchmarks for its terrible obstacle avoidance system. Compared to the upcoming Dreame X50, its threshold-crossing performance is poor, and even the advertised 4cm threshold-crossing capability doesn’t hold up in actual tests. Yet, only this channel is praising the Q Revo Curve.

This raises clear concerns and makes me suspect that the channel might be receiving sponsorship from Roborock. Moreover, the Q Revo Curve doesn’t even provide a direct drainage kit like Dreame or Narwal do. A mid-range model with so many flaws being ranked as number one makes me feel that Vacuum Wars is no longer objective or trustworthy.

  18. You need a robot "no internet/app" category. This is idea for older people without internet or a smart phone for apps. Self emptying would be best for older people as well.

  19. I gotta say. This looks the MOST time invested review i have ever seeing in my life and i really REALLY appreciate your effort on doing so. I wish anybody like you makes this kind of reviews in all “kinks” they way you did with just passion. I LOVE YOU and my OCD will thank you as one of it’s top reviewers.

  20. Why have you not reviewed the dreame L10s pro heat? It’s the budget version of the L40 so I’d be curious to see where it falls in the top 20 at half the price

  21. Please test long hair, not just pet hair. It’s NOT the same thing. The late 2010’s Roombas become almost completely unusable with hair thick hair that’s past shoulder length, even with less than 900 sq feet. The pet hair test doesn’t tell me anything about how it handles 20+ inch hair.

  22. i wish you add customer service to your tests for overall recommendation as well. That is a make or break for me. i can’t deal with bad customer service no matter how good the initial product, what sets it apart is when it breaks down and you need help (EG i am never buying from Samsung again for this one reason)

  23. RIP my Roborock S5 which battery started giving up (dies at ~40% charge) after 5 years and 1084h runtime (2334 cleanups). This video helps a lot looking for a worthy replacement, but I’m still not sold on the mopping system every robot has these days. I feel like mopping doesn’t make much difference and I would rarely use it.

  24. Additionally, in the case of Roborock, the hot water cleaning temperature is lower than the specified temperature in the product specs, and it does not support automatic detergent dispensing. However, the channel does not point out these shortcomings and instead offers nothing but praise. It seems that Vacuum Wars has lost its objectivity.
