I ask google to turn off lights and it says back that it did turn off some lights and some are unavailable if they are already off. It’s so annoying especially in the night time

Glazed over the most important thing, with HomeKit, your smart devices are controlled locally. Itās not Google or Amazons cloud reaching in to control a device. Itās your AppleTV or HomePod that actually controls the device.
Im an Apple / iPhone user but I only choose Alexaās at home.
Siri is near useless… unless you like to hear "I found the following results on the web" while you’re driving and just need to know if there is a fuel station close by. If I wanted to view web results I would have picked up my phone and used a web browser to search myself. Horrible. It’s even worse on something like the Apple Watch, where you’re obviously trying to HEAR the answer to something (either because you’re driving, walking, etc., and don’t or can’t whip out your phone or laptop to search yourself. Unless you ask Siri "What’s two plus two?" you’re going to get "I found the following results on the web" type answers. Pitiful.

Iām an Apple fan and think Siri is āokā in its limited use, but Appleās routine creation is garbage. I wouldnāt recommend it to anyone that wants a robust home automation solution. Itās been like that for years and probably will be for years to come. They should be embarrassed.

In India, everyone i know of having a smart speaker/display have an Amazon Echo device. Even I was looking for Echo dot 5 reviews on youtube and ended up here in this video. Thanks for the video btw.
